What’s the meaning of this? Why am I here? Why me? I don’t know if that’s for us to answer. The purpose is to live and have lived a full life, and to look back and not have any regrets. And to say I made the most of being alive. Because what a small minute chance that you would be alive right now.

I am Ashley!
As of writing this, I am a film student traversing the early years of my adulthood and evolving everyday into a better friend of the world. I enjoy creating stories and writing them into existence, consuming any and all media like podcasts and TV, going on spontaneous adventures with friends, and learning new things.
A dream of mine has always been to keep up a blog for people my age to relate and find a bit of solace in common experiences, but we never stop growing up, so I’m sure there’s a bit of everything here for anyone!
The goal of First Time Living is to create a creative community space for people to share stories, connect with one another, and have people leave with a bit of a chuckle or brighter day after they log out.
I’ll share overly long analyses of my obsessions, life observations and lessons I feel the need to share and rant about to spread some hardy advice, and some of my creative works.
In the non-internet world, I produce shows, sketch, film things, edit, make boba, and try to find any creative outlet to make a positive impact in my community and for myself. The newest outlet is this website. I am new to all this web design, so wish me luck!
